“My husband and i rented the cottage at Satori for a week.  My husband is an Architect and was attracted by the design both inside and out along with the incredible setting on the banks of the river and surrounded by woodland.  I have to say, we were not disappointed when we arrived.  Amanda and Ken were immediately welcoming and enthusiastically answered our questions about the local area.  The cottage is ideally situated for exploring the magnificent countryside of Cork and Kerry.  The cottage itself is in a really peaceful setting, you drive down through woodland to arrive and it is very tastefully furnished.  We slept soundly in the very comfortable beds.  We would recommend this to anybody who is looking for a place to stay that is out of the ordinary.”

The Cottage
The Cottage sleeps 4-5 people offering 2 comfortably furnished bedrooms, one of which opens on to the garden and both offering close views of the forest. The cottage has its own front door and has its own privacy while having access to explore the beautiful setting of the Satori Estate. This modern, full equipped cottage has been furnished with a sense of homely comforts.  It is modern, comfortable and has a sense of being totally connected to nature.  Every room has a view of the garden/forest and the living space also has a view of the courtyard that is littered with flowers and plants that expose every season for its own natural beauty. The hosts live next door but with your access to the cottage, this private getaway, gives you a real sense of modest luxury matched with a feeling of “home from home”.
